We are beginning our journey with these loveable sheep, widely known as “The cutest sheep in the world” Valais originate from Switzerland, They are a hardy dual-purpose breed providing meat and wool since the 1400s, and have been a recognised breed since 1962.
Their wool is widely used for felting and carpets, spinners also love the long locks.
The Valais breed is quite rare, having only entered Australia in recent years, but the numbers of Valais are on the rise with breed-up programmes worldwide.
Valais are a large slow maturing sheep with a nature akin to a placid pet dog — extremely friendly with total cuteness overload.
We are extremely excited to begin our journey with the following two girls:
Malakai Lady Valentine, 100% Valais Ewe
Malakai Lady Ba Ba, 50% F1 Valais Ewe
